The Flydrill Method

The FLYDRILL method is a completely new concept for bored piling. The drilling unit with rotary head, kelly bar and drilling tool is suspended by the hoist rope of the base carrier crane. The hydraulic power for the drill unit is provided from the base crane.
The drill head is fixed on the casing with a hydraulically operated clamping system during the drilling operation. When emptying the drilling tool, the clamp cylinders are opened and the complete unit is swung sideways.
