Mud Disposing Plant BMD 10
The Bauer Mud Disposer is a plant in a 20' container, which was developed for the disposal of slurry mud, suitable for the building industry.
From the slurry depot the slurry is transported into the flocculation reactor by means of a pump. The coagulant required is continuously prepared in a fully-automatic coagulant conditioning plant and added to the slurry. For adopting the quantity of coagulant to the requirements of the flocculation, the density of the slurry is measured automatically. A static mixer in the slurry pipe guarantees an intensive mixing of slurry and coagulant. If required, a metering pump for cationic inoculation of the slurry is connected.
In the sludge press the pre-dewatered slurry is continuously dewatered by the increase of pressure and by the use of the pneumatic pressure cone. By continuous circulation of the slurry high filtrate resistance is avoided and thus a higher dewatering capacity can be achieved at a small pressure. The return of a partial filtrate flow guarantees an optimum quality of the filtrate.
